SceneIVerse is an AI-powered generative platform for creating short-form video clips, characters, and locations. We are a small, solo-developed service focused on democratizing storytelling through AI.

About These Terms

"SceneIVerse," "we," "us," or "our" refers to the operator of SceneIVerse.com and SceneIVerse.app. "The Service" means the SceneIVerse platform accessible at SceneIVerse.com, SceneIVerse.app, and any related subdomains, applications, or interfaces we operate. These Privacy and Terms documents govern your use of the Service across all such access points. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: Email address and username.
• Prompts and Prompt History: The text prompts and descriptions you submit to generate scenes, characters, locations, and related assets. This includes original prompt text, generated descriptions, and revision history where you edit a description or prompt.
• Generated Content: Images and videos you create on the platform.
• Usage Data: Basic interaction data, including credit balances, generation history, and log data used to improve and secure the service.
• Support and Report Data: Information you send us, including abuse reports, takedown requests, and privacy requests.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• No payment information - all payments are handled by Stripe and Patreon.
• No user uploads or reference material - all assets are gated to the platform. Users submit text prompts only.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We share data with service providers that help us operate the Service, including cloud hosting, payment processing, AI generation, and content-safety providers. We may provide a current subprocessor list upon request to app@sceneiverse.com. Where required by law, we disclose the categories of recipients in this policy.

4. Data Retention

• Account data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure.
• Generated content is retained while your account is active, or until you delete it, whichever comes first.
• Prompt text, descriptions, and prompt revision history are retained while your account is active and for up to 12 months after generation or account closure, unless a longer period is required for legal compliance, abuse investigation, or dispute resolution.
• Backup copies of prompt data are retained only as long as operationally necessary and are purged on a rolling basis.
• We may retain certain records longer where required by law, for fraud prevention, for dispute resolution, or to comply with legal process.
• Where content is reported as child sexual abuse material or non-consensual intimate imagery, we may preserve it and associated records and disclose them to law enforcement or reporting organizations as required by law.
• Where required under the Canadian Copyright Act Notice-and-Notice provisions, we will retain and route notifications as described in Section 4 of the Terms of Use below.

4.1 Prompt Data and Legal Holds

Because SceneIVerse is a text-prompt-only platform, the text you submit is the primary user-generated input. We retain prompts, descriptions, and prompt revision history as described in Section 4. Where a prompt or output is reported as illegal content, including child sexual abuse material or non-consensual intimate imagery, we may preserve the prompt, related outputs, revision history, and associated account records indefinitely and disclose them to law enforcement, reporting organizations, or courts as required by law. This preservation overrides any general retention or deletion rule in this Privacy Policy.

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including access controls and encrypted transmission. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

• You can access and download your generated content at any time.
• You can delete your account at any time.
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent.
• To exercise any right, email app@sceneiverse.com with the subject line PRIVACY REQUEST. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
• If you violate our copyright terms, you may receive one warning. Upon a second violation, your account may be removed after you have had the opportunity to download your generated content.

7. International Transfers

We and our service providers may process and store information in countries other than your own, including Canada and the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact app@sceneiverse.com.

9. Biometrics and Metadata

We do not use your generated content to build facial recognition templates or biometric identifiers, and we do not sell biometric data. Automated content-safety tools may analyze prompts and outputs to detect prohibited material. We do not intentionally display or expose hidden file metadata, such as location data, in your generated content.

10. Subprocessors

We use third-party providers for payments, hosting, generative AI infrastructure, cloud compute, and content safety. A current list is available on request to app@sceneiverse.com.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will provide notice by email or through the Service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Terms of Use

By creating an account or using SceneIVerse.com, SceneIVerse.app, or any part of the Service, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
• If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you must be at least 16 years old, or have parental consent where your local law permits a lower age.
• You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law.
• We may require age verification where required by law.

2. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You may not use the Service to create, attempt to create, request, store, or distribute any of the following:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or any sexual or sexualized content involving minors, real or synthetic.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII), including AI-generated or "deepfake" sexual content depicting any real person without their consent.
• Deepfakes or realistic depictions of real, identifiable people without their consent, including public figures, in any misleading, defamatory, or harmful context.
• Content that harasses, threatens, defames, or incites violence against any person or group.
• Hate speech, or content promoting terrorism, self-harm, or illegal activity.
• Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
• Content that violates the publicity, privacy, or personality rights of any person.

You also may not:

• Upload or submit any image, video, audio, or other media file. The Service accepts text prompts only.
• Attempt to bypass, disable, evade, or circumvent any content filter, safety system, moderation tool, or usage limit, including through obfuscation, misspellings, coded language, roleplay framing, or prompt injection.
• Use the Service to train, fine-tune, benchmark, or develop any competing machine learning model.
• Scrape, crawl, bulk-download, reverse engineer, or resell the Service or its outputs.
• Impersonate SceneIVerse, its owner, or any other person.
• Use the Service to violate any applicable law.

3. AI-Generated Content and Prompt Responsibility

• You are solely responsible for the prompts you submit and for how you use any output.
• You understand that generative AI may produce unexpected, inaccurate, or unintended results. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before using them.
• You understand that outputs may resemble existing works, real persons, or protected characters. You are responsible for ensuring your use of any output does not infringe third-party rights.
• You may not represent AI-generated content as authentic human-created media of real events or real people where doing so would be misleading or unlawful.
• We retain the text prompts, descriptions, and prompt revision history you submit in order to operate the Service, maintain your generation log, respond to legal process, investigate abuse, defend against claims, and comply with law. You are responsible for the content of your prompts and descriptions, including any personal information or third-party likeness you include in them.

4. Copyright Policy

• Users are not permitted to generate copyrighted material on the platform, and may not use the Service to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of protected material without authorization.
• We will remove or disable access to allegedly infringing content expeditiously upon receiving a valid notice.
• We maintain and enforce a repeat infringer policy. Users who repeatedly infringe copyright will have their accounts terminated.
• We may, at our discretion, issue a warning before termination for a first, non-severe violation. We are not obligated to warn before removing content or terminating an account.
• If you believe your copyright has been infringed, email app@sceneiverse.com with the subject line DMCA NOTICE, and include: (a) identification of the work; (b) identification and location of the allegedly infringing material; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement of good-faith belief that use is unauthorized; (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized agent; and (f) your physical or electronic signature.
• If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address with the subject line DMCA COUNTER-NOTICE.

Canadian Notice-and-Notice. For users, content creators, or copyright owners subject to Canadian jurisdiction, SceneIVerse also operates in accordance with, and maintains compliance under, the Notice-and-Notice provisions of the Canadian Copyright Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. C-42). Any statutory obligations required to preserve data or route notifications under Canadian law will be handled through our designated contact address at app@sceneiverse.com (subject line: CANADIAN COPYRIGHT NOTICE).

4.1 Gated Architecture and Audit Rights

Because all user-generated content is private, token-gated, and restricted strictly to the generating account, SceneIVerse does not publicly index, broadcast, or distribute your creations by default. However, you explicitly acknowledge that we maintain the absolute right to run automated programmatic audits, block generations, or permanently delete media files directly from your private account locker if flagged by our upstream cloud infrastructure providers, or if we become aware of a clear intellectual property or safety policy violation.

5. Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery, Deepfakes, and CSAM

• We prohibit the generation of non-consensual intimate imagery, including AI-generated or "deepfake" intimate content depicting any real person.
• We will remove reported non-consensual intimate imagery within 48 hours of receiving a valid report.
• We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), Cybertip.ca, and/or law enforcement as required by law.
• We may preserve content and associated records where required for legal compliance, law enforcement, or reporting obligations.
• Accounts found to be involved in CSAM or NCII will be terminated immediately.

6. Reporting and Takedown

To report content or request removal, email app@sceneiverse.com using the following subject lines:

• ABUSE REPORT - for harmful content, NCII, CSAM, harassment, or other abuse.
• DMCA NOTICE - for copyright infringement under U.S. law.
• CANADIAN COPYRIGHT NOTICE - for copyright notices under the Canadian Copyright Act.
• PRIVACY REQUEST - for privacy or data rights requests.

Include enough detail for us to locate the content and explain your relationship to it. We will review and act expeditiously. We may contact you for clarification. Knowingly submitting a false report may result in liability.

7. Moderation and Enforcement

• We may review, log, restrict, remove, or delete any prompt, output, or account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe it violates these Terms, applicable law, or third-party provider requirements.
• We may suspend access while we investigate a report.
• We may review stored prompts, descriptions, prompt revision history, and generated outputs as part of abuse investigations, safety enforcement, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
• We may run automated and manual audits of prompts and outputs, and we may unilaterally delete any stored file if a provider flags it as a safety breach or if we determine it violates these Terms.
• We are not obligated to monitor all content, but we reserve the right to do so.
• Enforcement decisions are made at our discretion. Serious violations may result in immediate termination without warning or refund.

8. Ownership of Generated Content

• As between you and SceneIVerse, you retain ownership of the text prompts you submit.
• To the extent permitted by applicable law and by the terms of our third-party AI providers, you may own the outputs you generate. You acknowledge that AI-generated outputs may not be eligible for copyright protection in some jurisdictions, and that your rights in outputs may be limited.
• You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, reproduce, display to you, moderate, audit, and delete your content, solely to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service, and to comply with law.
• We do not publicly display your content. Your content is gated to your account.
• We may retain and use aggregated, de-identified data that does not identify you or your content.

9. Third-Party AI and Cloud Infrastructure Providers

The Service uses third-party generative AI infrastructure, model, cloud compute, and content-safety providers. We do not publicly identify every specific model or provider used. You acknowledge and agree that your prompts and generated content may be processed by these providers to operate the Service, enforce safety and content policies, and comply with applicable law. Your use of the Service may also be subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or outputs of third-party providers.

You agree to strictly comply with all acceptable use policies, community guidelines, and regional safety restrictions implemented by our underlying generative AI infrastructure and cloud compute subprocessors. If an automated safety engine or upstream provider webhook flags your text prompt or output as an unauthorized safety breach, political violation, or policy infraction, we reserve the right to terminate the generation instantly and permanently freeze the associated account assets without liability or credit refund.

10. No Scraping or Retraining

You may not use the Service or its outputs to train, fine-tune, benchmark, or develop any competing machine learning model. You may not scrape, crawl, bulk-download, or systematically extract content or data from the Service.

SceneIVerse does not guarantee real-time fulfillment for manual infrastructure interventions.

Meme Generator pricing is lower than Scene Generator pricing because meme outputs use a lighter compute pipeline. 720p is billed at 2x the 480p rate for both generators.

Credit Deduction by Generator

Because 1 credit equals 1 cent, the following credit deductions apply when a generation executes:

• Scene Generator (480p): deducts 33, 66, or 99 credits for 5s, 10s, or 15s respectively.
• Meme Generator (480p): deducts 20, 40, or 60 credits for 5s, 10s, or 15s respectively.
• 720p deductions are 2x the 480p amounts.

Every generation receipt and downloadable manifest identifies the generator type (Scene or Meme), resolution, and duration, so users can confirm why a specific credit balance was deducted.

12. Credit Packs

1 credit = 1 cent - A standard 5s/480p Scene clip costs 33 credits. A standard 5s/480p Meme clip costs 20 credits.

All pricing is in USD unless otherwise indicated. Prices may change with notice. Meme clip counts are approximate because credit deductions depend on duration and resolution chosen.

13. Payment, Tuition, Refunds, and Access

• No tuition or subscription is required for the Gamified App (pay-per-use credit packs).
• Academy tuition is $9.99 per month of access, payable and retroactive to the date of enrollment.
• Academy tuition is a fee for access to instruction, tooling, backend integration support, and hands-on assistance. It is not a product subscription, and it does not include generation credits.
• Academy tuition is billed monthly. Continued access beyond a paid month requires renewed tuition. We will provide notice before any renewal charge.
• You may stop attending Academy at any time. Stopping tuition does not entitle you to a refund for a month already in progress, except where required by applicable law.
• Payments processed through Stripe and Patreon.
• Patreon is encouraged for the Academy tier, but no one is required to use Patreon to access services.
• Definition of a spent credit. Because generative artificial intelligence models are inherently probabilistic and experimental, a "spent credit" or "pack deduction" strictly constitutes the successful compute processing and programmatic execution of your text prompt by the underlying model pipeline. It does not constitute a guarantee of a specific aesthetic quality, narrative coherence, high fidelity, or satisfying artistic output. Glitched, abstract, corrupted, or visually unexpected outputs are natural characteristics of serverless AI generation and do not qualify for credit restoration or financial refunds.
• Generation receipts and downloadable manifests may include the original prompt or description text associated with each generation.
• Credits and purchases are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
• We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. In such cases, unused credits and tuition amounts are non-refundable.
• If you believe you were charged in error, contact app@sceneiverse.com before initiating a chargeback.

14. Termination and Account Deletion

• You may delete your account at any time and download your generated content beforehand.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service.
• Upon termination, we may delete your content after a reasonable period. We may retain records where required by law, for fraud prevention, for dispute resolution, or in connection with a legal hold.
• Upon account termination or deletion, prompt text, descriptions, and prompt revision history may be deleted, anonymized, or retained as required for legal compliance, abuse investigation, law enforcement, or dispute resolution. Backup copies containing prompt data are purged on a rolling basis.
• Where content is reported as CSAM or NCII, we may preserve and disclose it to authorities as required, regardless of account status.
• We may preserve content and associated records where required for legal compliance, law enforcement, or reporting obligations.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SceneIVerse, its owner, operators, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your prompts, content, or use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your infringement or violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights; or (d) any claim that your content caused harm to a third party.

16. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

All tools are made available "as is" and "where is." SceneIVerse is a new platform run by a solo developer who loves supporting artists and believes AI helps democratize storytelling. Through our services and features, we aim to add fun and wonder to the world.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will be accurate, lawful, or free of third-party claims.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) CAD $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. The courts located in the Province of Nova Scotia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your place of residence.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide notice by email or through the Service. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
